Strategic partnerships
Building strong partnerships between employers and education providers is essential for a strategic approach to workforce needs. It’s important to consider if practice educators are:
- well-supported, fairly paid, and helped with workload management
- aligned with your organisation’s values and Social Work England’s (SWE) criteria
- supported by strategic efforts to improve access to good practice placements
- supported by strong relationships with university partners
- celebrated for their achievements of those advancing through apprenticeships and other programs
- given opportunities for career progression within the social care workforce
