Section 1 of 2
Introduction module: The four capabilities (4C) leadership framework

Managing complexity

Use learning and fresh ideas to improve systems and inspire others. Build strong relationships that inspire and influence, enabling positive change for children and families.

What do we mean by managing complexity?

Managing complexity involves balancing different priorities, directing resources and drawing on a secure evidence base to inform a bigger picture approach to achieving your goals.

A reminder of the capability that you are working towards:

Think carefully about the systems you work in, using creative and evidence-based ideas to focus on activities that matter most and put the needs of children and families first.
