Frontline has developed a leadership framework to support effective leadership in social care. It draws on research, statutory guidance, and practical experience, including the ‘Seven features of practice and seven outcomes’ and the ‘Social work post-qualifying standards: knowledge and skills statements.’
The framework identifies four essential capabilities, known as the 4Cs, for leadership success in the sector. The four capabilities are: maintaining curiosity, providing clarity, managing complexity and expanding capacity.
This introduction module explains the four capabilities and will take ten minutes to complete.
